Merger Integration – Developed and implemented a business architecture framework for post-merger integration and conducted analysis of potential synergies in business systems and processes, following a multi-billion dollar merger. The analysis helped accelerate the decision making process by understanding the interdependencies between the various systems and processes. 

Business Transformation – An introspective evaluation of the drug approval process with a big pharmaceutical company, in which only 1 in 3 drugs would get approved. Approval rates have improved significantly after implementing the recommendations and in the 3 years post implementation all FDA advisory committee recommendations have been positive, and several were unanimous, resulting in eight new drug approvals. 

FAIR Data – Provided a solution to combine Real World Data (RWD), Clinical, Omics, and Biomarker data assets and make them Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable. This cross-departmental assignment within a large biotech company, was aimed to improve insights in the Personalized Health Care (PHC) space. 

System Migrations and Upgrades – Drug safety system strategy and implementation for several large pharmaceutical companies; specific responsibilities varied by client, however roles generally included requirement definition, process re-engineering, system configuration, testing, validation, vendor management, and problem solving. 

IT Portfolio Management – Enabled CIO to optimize the IT project investment by implementing a portfolio management methodology and process, creating an IT roadmap, effectively managing the portfolio and aligning it with the business strategy. 

Loan Re-finance Campaign – Increased liquidity on existing loan portfolio and reduced portfolio risk by developing and executing a strategic refinance campaign which provided selected borrowers with additional loan options.
